If you are looking to move to Australia and work as an electrician you will need to complete VETASSESS as the first step of the process.

Once you have achieved a level one or level two in your competency profile (paper based) you can obtain an Offshore Technical Skills Record on completion of the practical skills one day assessment.

VETASSESS look for certain criteria and if you don’t submit the right documentation you may not receive the adequate level in order to move forward. A level 3 candidate is unsuccessul and the candidate can not progress to a skills assessment. We will help to process your applications for VETASSESS at a fee of £250. On submitting the application to VETASSESS which is processed in Australia it takes 3-4 weeks for feedback on your Level outcome which determines if you can then do the practical.
