Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) Health & Safety Assessment (£50)
The ECS Health & Safety Assessment has been introduced as the method of assessing the health and safety knowledge of people working in the Electrotechnical Industry. Passing the Assessment will demonstrate that you have a satisfactory level of health and safety knowledge.
The Assessment is the health and safety requirement for all Electrician's working in the UK Construction Industry.
Quick facts about the ECS Health & Safety Assessment:
- The Assessment costs £50.00 (Assessment Fee £35.00 + Administration and Service Charge £15.00)
- ECS Health and Safety Books are available to purchase at £7 which will be posted Royal Mail first class, or collected from the London office
- Alternatively you can use the free link for the downloadable version to the questions and answers that will asked in the assessment
- ECS Questions & Answers
- The Assessment consists of 40 multiple choice questions
- The Assessment will take 30 minutes
- The Assessment is taken on a computer
- All candidates who pass the Assessment will be issued with an ECS Certificate from the Joint Industry Board (JIB)
- OUR TEST CENTRE IS EQUIPPED TO OFFER THIS ASSESSMENT IN ENGLISH ONLY

The ECS Health & Safety Assessment is run daily, Monday to Friday. More information and availability for the Assessment can be found here.
Payment is secure and is completed via Barclays. We accept all debit and credit cards.
We also cater for group bookings with private assessment sessions. Please contact us directly on 020 8434 3627 to discuss a group booking.
Prepare for the ECS Health & Safety Assessment
We will provide you with the required study material to prepare for the Assessment. The JIB recommend at least 10 days revision time before you sit the Assessment.
