The Test costs £40.00 (Course Fee £17.50 + Administration and Service Charge £22.50).

The ConstructionSkills Health & Safety Test sets the standards for the UK Construction Industry, ensuring that everyone working in construction has a minimum level of health and safety awareness. The aim of the Test is to examine knowledge across a wide range of health and safety topics in order to improve safety and productivity on site.

A pass result in the Test is compulsory when applying for a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card and other affiliated Scheme Cards (i.e. CPCS). Most contractors and clients now demand proof of competence in the form of a CSCS Card before allowing workers onto their sites.

Our Test Centre offers all the ConstructionSkills Health & Safety Tests:

Core Test (e.g. Operatives)
Specialist Tests (e.g. Plumbing or Gas)
Supervisor Manager Tests
Professional Tests
HVACR Tests

The Test costs £40.00 (Course fee £17.50 + Administration and Service Charge £22.50). The Test is computer based and will consist of either:

40 multiple choice questions in 45 minutes or
50 multiple choice questions in 1 hour (This will depend on the type of test you are taking e.g. Core Test, Specialist Test etc)

Immediate results are provided on completion of the Test. All our test stations are equipped with a mouse and headphones.

To prepare for the Test you will need to study the ConstructionSkillls Health & Safety Test Book or CD-ROM.

CSCS Card Application Forms are available on request on the day of your Test.
