Our Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and City & Guilds Approved Test Centre offer the following to assist all Tradespeople in gaining the required qualifications to work in the UK Construction Industry.

ConstructionSkills Health & Safety Test

City & Guilds

In order to work on UK constructions sites Tradespeople must demonstrate health and safety awareness. This is achieved through passing the ConstructionSkills Health & Safety Test. Once you have passed your trade specific test (e.g. CSCS Operative, Plumbing or Gas, Working at Heights) you can apply for a CSCS Card directly through the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).

City & Guilds

Electricians must demonstrate health and safety awareness in order to work on construction sites in the UK. This is achieved through passing the ECS Health & Safety Assessment.

City & Guilds 2382 (17th Edition) Exams and Courses

City & Guilds

Through passing the City & Guilds 2382-10 (17th Edition) Exam or the 2382-20 (17th Edition) Update Exam you will gain the qualification: City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS 7671 2008).

The content of the City & Guilds 2382-10 (17th Edition) Exam and 2382-20 (17th Edition) Update Exam is based on City & Guilds Unit 100 – Requirements for Electrical Installations to BS 7671:2008. The aim of this unit is to enable the candidate to demonstrate that they are conversant with the IEE Wiring Regulations Seventeenth Edition BS 7671:2008 (the national standard for the electrical industry in respect of safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems in the United Kingdom).

Downunder Tradies Group provides both exam options and course options. The Course options include the Exam with the IEE Wiring Regulations Seventeenth Edition BS 7671:2008 and Home Study Course.

City & Guilds 2377 (PAT Testing) Exams and Courses

City & Guilds

Candidates passing the City & Guilds 2377-100 (PAT Testing) Exam will gain the qualification: Level 3 Certificate of Competent Management of Electrical Equipment Maintenance.

Candidates passing the City & Guilds 2377-200 (PAT Testing) Exam will gain the qualification: Level 3 Certificate for the Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.

Downunder Tradies Group provides both Exam and Course options for the City & Guilds 2377 (PAT Testing). The Home Study Course includes the IEE Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (3rd edition), a Downloadable Home Study Course, a Practical Workshop and the Exam.

The City & Guilds 2391-10 (Inspection & Testing) Assessments and Courses

City & Guilds

Candidates passing both the City & Guilds 2931-10 (Inspection & Testing) Written Assessment 2391-301 and the City & Guilds 2931-10 (Inspection & Testing) Practical Assessment 2391-302 will gain the qualification: City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in the Certification of Electrical Installations (inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations) (2391-10).
